I believe vibrant health is our greatest gift. Without it we cannot enjoy life to it’s fulllest. To do this it is vital that we take good care of our bodies.
In the past I worked as a pioneer holistic medical practitioner in New Zealand. At the time I carried the torch of optimal wellness and I worked closely with my patients empowering them to make wise decisions about their health.
A few years later I moved to Australia to become a medical locum. While working in medical practice I became acutely aware of the deficiencies of ‘supermarket’ medicine. With only ten minutes for my patients I only had time for diagnosis, investigations, blood tests etc.
I did not have time to guide my patients to participate in their long term health. Unfortunately, medicolegally I had no choice. Sadly, medicine was no longer a healing art - it had become a disease business restricted by a framework of legal and pharmacological complexities.
With time my passion for medicine waned. I burnt out and was forced to stop. This illness was the catalyst that led me to re-evaluate my life.
Twelve years ago I changed my direction and began promoting wellness. In doing so I chose to align myself with the vision of Dr Myron Wentz, the founder of USANA Health Sciences.
Today I travel the world educating people on health and I encourage them to take personal responsibility for every aspect of their lives. I have a passion for life and believe that with knowledge and desire you are able to guide your health and your life in a positive and productive direction.
